Who’s hungry for a street food festival? Good news: the fantastic Night Market Philadelphia season returns for its sixth year with four food truck festivals in up-and-coming neighborhoods throughout the city.
The uber-popular festival organized by The Food Trust highlights the city’s amazing dining scene by inviting more than 50 food trucks and neighborhood restaurants to serve up food and drinks in the great outdoors (read: on streets and sidewalks) for hungry crowds.
This year, the festival will visit three new locations —including one location that’s still under wraps — and a fave from the 2015 season.
Night Market Philadelphia launches on Thursday, May 12 with a festival up the hill in Roxborough at Ridge Avenue and Green Lane.
Following the May Night Market, the season continues in Callowhill on June 23, West Philly on September 1 and in a yet-to-be-disclosed location in October.
Philadelphia’s Night Market street food festivals always deliver top food truck fare and restaurant eats in the city — think everything from tacos and fried cheese curds to pizza and ice cream while local beer and spirits keep thirst at bay.
The final Night Market event of last season was jam packed with dozens and dozens of vendors, awesome live music, beer and plenty of alfresco good times, so expect many a bash for this year’s events.
