This fall, there are plenty of opportunities to chow down on delicious grub at food festivals across Philadelphia.

In the coming weeks, you can attend food truck festivals (in Manayunk, Chinatown and at the Navy Yard), feast on barbecue at an all-day event, check out a celebration of fall fruit at Peddler’s Village and so much more.

Any fans of food trucks should head out to the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival, an all-day event that promises food and drinks from more than 50 food trucks and vendors, live music, shopping and more. The festival kicks off Manayunk's restaurant week, which starts on September 19.

Old City Fest

Dozens of Old City restaurants are bars are getting their menus ready for the blockbuster Old City Fest, which returns on Sunday, October 9 this year. More than 40 galleries, design houses, artisans and independent retailers will be on hand to show and sell goods and services to complement all of the good grub.

This October, Chinatown hosts a Night Market of its own with a solid selection of food trucks — everything from ice cream and cupcakes to barbecue and tacos — and offerings from neighborhood restaurants, too. Live music, karate demonstrations and dance performances round out the Thursday night festival.

Philly’s Cheesesteak and Food Festival

Last October, Philadelphia finally hosted its first festival devoted entirely to the cheesesteak. The highly anticipated event is set to return this year with an expanded amount of awesome offerings, including other favorited Philly eats such as hoagies, roast pork sandwiches, pretzels, water ice and more.
