Find Santa Claus at Macy’s Center City greeting families each day through Christmas Eve. Visit with Mr. Claus, have a photo taken by the on-site service and take in the charming Dickens Village on the third floor of the wondrously decorated department store. The fun continues with the Christmas Light Show, illuminating a large wall of the atrium every two hours inside the grand Wanamaker building. Find nearly 100,000 LED lights dancing to the sounds of carols pumped out of the historic Wanamaker Organ.

Christmas Village creates a winter wonderland in a new home this year at City Hall, returning with as much sparkle as ever along with its annual Santa House. Swing by for a photo with the cheery, red-suited man, in between your shopping adventures at the open-air, German-style market.

Santa Saturdays at Franklin Square Holiday Festival

Along with a ton of other family-centric holiday festivities, such as the free Electrical Spectacle Holiday Light Show, Franklin Square hosts Santa Saturdays each week, bringing two opportunities to mingle with Santa. Advanced $10 tickets will get you the opportunity to share milk and cookies with Santa as he tells some of his favorite stories inside a heated pavilion from 4 to 5 p.m. Afterward, Santa ventures outside for free selfies with visitors to the park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Come by during this time on Saturday, December 10 for Santa Paws Saturday, a special, pet-friendly edition of the holiday event.

Each Saturday and Sunday, special Skate with Santa sessions add to the fun, when Mr. Claus invites you to join him on the ice from 1-5 p.m.

For stunning bird's-eye views of Philly with Santa, head to One Liberty Observation Deck for Spot your Spot with Santa. Kids and their parents are invited to visit with Santa 57 floors above the city and use the 360-degree views and interactive technology at the deck to show off to Santa right where to deliver presents on Christmas Eve. Kid's admission is free with one paid adult through Saturday, December 31.

Santa Paws at Hotel Palomar

Philly’s hip and pet-friendly hotel, Hotel Palomar Philadelphia, hosts its annual Santa Paws pet event Saturday, December 10. Man’s best friend can take to Santa’s lap to pose for festive and furry photos with Santa. A photographer will be on-hand to snap free photos and all participants receive a swag bag with treats. The event is free, but the hotel will be accepting donations on behalf of Saved Me, who will be on site with several furry friends in need of a home.

Santa Visits At Frankford Hall

The Jolly Old Elf will pop into one of Fishtown’s favorite beer gardens, Frankford Hall, for the next two weekends in December. Guests will receive goodie bags from Santa’s special helpers, enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and watch live performances. On the final weekend, the garden will be transformed into a winter wonderland, with red carpet, lights, holiday trees and even snow! In addition to Santa’s regularly scheduled mingling, he’ll be making a special evening appearance on Saturday, December 17 from 7-10 p.m. for the Frankford Hall and Bell’s Brewery's Deck the Hall & Rock the Bells event. Look forward to a selection of seasonal Bell’s beers pouring on draft while rock 'n' roll tunes set the soundtrack for the night.
