Throughout the month of February, the National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH) offers up free admission to all thanks to generous support from the Parkway Corporation. That’s right, from February 1 through February 28, guests of museum in Philadelphia’s Historic District receive free access to the impressive collection.
The museum boasts a groundbreaking display of more than 20,000 artifacts, some of which date back more than 300 years and all of which help to preserve, explore and celebrate the story of the history of Jews in America.
Throughout the 100,000-square-foot museum, guests can explore artifacts, documents, images, 30 original films and more than a dozen state-of-the-art interactive media displays. Of particular note, visitors can see the 1790 letter from George Washington to the Hebrew Congregation in Newport, Rhode Island.
While the museum’s exhibits will be open all throughout February, NMAJH will host a slew of special programs including storytelling, crafts and more in celebration of President’s Day (February 20).
