Mummers Mardi Gras In Manayunk

Bourbon Street has nothing on Main Street when the Mummers strut their stuff in celebration of Mardi Gras in Manayunk. The parade features 16 different string bands, followed by after-parties at just about every Manayunk eatery and bar.

Mardi Gras Parade on South Street

The Wild Bohemians' Mardi Gras parade returns to South Street this Sunday with colorful costumes, live music and an epic celebration of Mardi Gras. The parade/bar crawl starts at NOLA-themed bar Fat Tuesday’s and continues to Downey’s, PaddyWhacks, O’Neals and more.

West Philadelphia Orchestra Mardi Gras Party at Franky Bradley's

High-octane Balkan brass band West Philadelphia Orchestra throws a dance party every Tuesday at Franky Bradley's in Midtown Village. Come Fat Tuesday, WPO's repertoire will take a cue from New Orleans with Mardi Gras-related tunes to break up the usual Balkan-style lineup.
