The spring season kicks off today (happy first day of spring!) with a number of great events and festivals to keep you entertained all week long.

The week starts with pay-what-you-wish admission to one of the city’s most fun museums, the Academy of Natural Sciences. The museum celebrates Founders Day with the admission deal in addition to special events and activities.

Also this week, Philly Wine Week continues with vino-fueled events around town, including a special brunch at Barbuzzo and a local wine happy hour at Martha.

Philly Wine Week Pick: Made in PA Wine Land at Martha

Wines from two local vineyards — Allegro Winery and Waltz Vineyards — fill the menu at this Made in PA happy hour at Martha. From 6 to 8 p.m., enjoy a complimentary wine tasting featuring everything from rosé to chardonnay, tasty snacks and more. Plus, Martha will be offering a half-price happy hour menu featuring wine and wine cocktails.

Starkbierfest at Brauhaus Schmitz

Be Beautiful Expo

The Be Beautiful Expo is the largest expo for women of color in Philadelphia. Boom 107.9, WNBR 100.3 and Praise 107.9 welcome those of all ages to the Pennsylvania Convention Center for a day of music, empowerment, shopping and fun. This one-day event features over 200 marketplace vendors, celebrity workshops and live performances from some of the Tri-State area's top music, beauty, fashion and lifestyle experts.
