A key ingredient for a delicious spring is festive dining in the great outdoors.
Night Market Philadelphia delivers just that — awesome food-truck eats alfresco — and the terrific Philly event series returns for its seventh season this May.
This season’s lineup includes four food truck festivals in diverse neighborhoods throughout the city, starting with Burholme in northeast Philadelphia on Thursday, May 11.

The uber-popular festival organized by The Food Trust highlights the city’s amazing dining scene by inviting dozens and dozens of food trucks and neighborhood restaurants to serve up food and drinks in a festival-style outdoor event (read: on streets and sidewalks).
Night Market 2017 Season
The first location, northeast Philadelphia’s Burholme, is brand-new to the Night Market scene. The neighborhood will host the evening pop-up on Thursday, May 11, 6-10 p.m. at the intersection of Cottman and Rising Sun avenues, also known as “Five Points.”
Marking the Night Market’s 25th festival, the date also coincides with The Food Trust’s 25th anniversary of ensuring healthy food access for all.
For its second event of the season, The Food Trust teams up with Wawa Welcome America in West Philly’s Spruce Hill neighborhood on July 1. Some extra excitement is anticipated for the celebration — stay tuned for more details.
Later this year, Night Market revisits two fan-favorited locations, Roxborough on August 10 and the Italian Market on October 5.
Always packed with a ton of delicious eats, live music and beer, the season promises plenty of alfresco good times.
