The first full week of April arrives with a calendar of festival-filled fun.

This Sunday, the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival hits its peak with Sakura Sunday, an annual celebration of blossoming cherry trees in West Fairmount Park.

Also on Sunday, the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival, Manayunk’s popular food truck festival, returns to Main Street with eats and drinks from more than 40 food trucks in addition to music, shopping and fun activities.

Movie Monday: Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them at the Trocadero Theatre

For its recurring Movie Monday, the Trocadero Theatre screens Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, a Harry Potter spin-off film. Admission is just $3, and the admission fee goes toward your first drink (beer and wine are available for purchase) or snack.
