Not sure what to get mom for Mother’s Day? Lucky for you, one of the most popular outdoor craft bazaars in Philadelphia goes down this weekend at Penn’s Landing!
Bring mom, grandmom or the whole family to the 14th annual Art Star Craft Bazaar, where more than 140 vendors will be in attendance to sell goods and crafts on the Delaware River waterfront alongside delicious food and drink vendors.
ART STAR CRAFT BAZAAR FAST FACTS
- The Art Star Craft Bazaar unfolds May 13-14, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
- The two-day craft fest takes place at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing.

What To See, Eat and Do
Visitors can look forward to a diverse array of handmade goods and gifts for sale, ranging from pottery and home goods to jewelry and clothing to pet accessories, bags, furniture and more. The Art Star Craft Bazaar also includes a program of make-and-take crafting opportunities like screen printing, pottery and upcycling. Pop Up Polaroid will be onsite with a photo booth and a suitcase full of props for you to snap a Polaroid with mom or whomever else you bring along.
Throughout the bazaar, traditional fair food and a full bar will be available from Penn’s Landing’s seasonal food and beverage vendors. Also look out for some of Philly’s top food trucks, including Sum Pig Food Truck, Poi Dog Snack Shop and Kung Fu Hoagies.
Spruce Street Harbor Park Opening Weekend
After checking out the Art Star Craft Bazaar, take a five-minute walk north to the amazing Spruce Street Harbor Park, which makes its 2017 seasonal debut on the Delaware River waterfront this Friday, May 12.
Throughout opening weekend, the Spruce Street Harbor Park will stay open from 11 a.m.-1 a.m. for the first annual UNIVESTival. Catch an aerial routine and tight rope performance by the Philly Circusbe (Saturday), a live concert (Saturday) and a drumming performance (Sunday).
The hammock haven and boardwalk-style oasis features a new food option this year, Harborside Pizza, along with returning fan favorites including Chickie’s and Pete’s, Franklin Fountain, Distrito and Port FedNuts, the Penn’s Landing location of Federal Donuts. And, to every drink fan’s delight, beer, wine and spirits will be flowing at the park from numerous bars set up throughout the space, creating one gigantic beer garden.
Getting There and Staying Over
Like all of the Delaware River waterfront attractions, the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing is super accessible via public transportation, bike and by foot.
For those planning to walk, head east on either Market, Chestnut, Walnut or South streets. Cross Front Street and walk over the pedestrian walkways to Columbus Boulevard. Traveling via SEPTA? Take the Market-Frankford Line to 2nd Street or catch one of the numerous SEPTA buses that stop at or near Penn’s Landing. Drivers can look for parking lots located at Lombard Circle, Walnut and Market streets at Columbus Boulevard.
