UNIVESTival at Spruce Street Harbor Park

Due to inclement weather, Spruce Street Harbor Park postponed its first-ever UNIVESTival, a three-day festival, to this weekend. On May 19 and 20, guests can enjoy performances, craft time with local arts companies and live music. Each night of the festival, a different local musician will take the stage at the waterfront park.

9th Street Italian Market Festival

The historic Italian Market's annual food-filled festival returns this weekend — both Saturday and Sunday — with food, drinks, music, activities and more. The festival is known for its delicious fare from neighborhood staples like Isgro’s, Lorenzo’s, Termini Brothers and DiBruno Bros., in addition to the grease pole competition, which takes place at 9th and Montrose streets multiple times throughout both days of the festival.

One of Center City's biggest festivals of the year returns this Saturday to Walnut Street and the surrounding area. The blockbuster Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival hits the neighborhood this Saturday for a full day of eating, drinking, shopping and more. The festival runs from noon to 5 p.m. with drinking and dining options from popular neighborhood spots like Rouge, Luke's Lobster, Mission Taqueria, Oyster House and a slew of Starr restaurants.

This Saturday, the quirky, fun, day-long celebration that is the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby and Arts Festival unfolds from noon to 6 p.m. Look forward to a parade of human-powered, handmade floats speeding down Trenton Avenue from Norris Street to Susquehanna Avenue. In addition to the float race, guests can look forward to food and drink options from a slew of local vendors, shopping from area artisans and more.

The Graduate Hospital neighborhood celebrates its businesses and residents with the eighth-annual Plazapalooza festival, taking place at the South Street Triangle at 22nd and South streets.
