Weekend Picks: Rittenhouse Row Spring Fest, Italian Market Festival, Parks On Tap And So Much More

A packed weekend arrives with festivals, beer gardens, exhibitions, music and more...

Spring weekends are meant for festival-ing, beer garden-ing and hanging out al fresco. This weekend, the city is packed with fun events all around town.

Walnut Street welcomes the blockbuster Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival this Saturday for five hours of food, drinks, music and more. Also on Saturday, the one-of-a-kind Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby and Arts Festival fills Fishtown with a race featuring human-powered, handmade floats in addition to food and drinks from local vendors, shopping and more.

On both Saturday and Sunday, the Italian Market Festival returns to 9th Street to celebrate the area’s history and heritage. All day long, sample classic market eats, groove to live music, take part in free activities and shop.

Don’t forget to follow Uwishunu on Twitter and Instagram for updates throughout the weekend.
