Jazz On The Ave Music Fest Returns To North Philadelphia This Saturday

Head to Cecil B. Moore Ave. for Grammy Award-winning performers on two stages, vendors, food and more...

From the 1940s until the 1960s, Cecil B. Moore Avenue was called Columbia Avenue and served as Philadelphia’s hub for jazz and entertainment.

For more than a decade, Beech Community Services has worked to recreate the avenue’s vintage reputation with the annual Jazz on the Ave Music Fest, which takes over Cecil B. Moore Avenue from Broad Street to 17th Street this Saturday, August 12.
