Long Weekend Picks: Labor Day Events, Made In America, Fireworks, Final Days For Summerfest And More

The holiday weekend arrives with tons of late summer fun...

Labor Day may signify the unofficial end of summer, but there’s still plenty of summer fun to be had in Philadelphia this holiday weekend.

On both Saturday and Sunday, the giant Made in America music festival hits the Benjamin Franklin Parkway with live music from top acts like JAY-Z, J. Cole, The Chainsmokers, Solange, Migos and more.

This weekend marks the final days for Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest and The Midway. Stop by for one last spin on the giant Ferris wheel or a round of mini-golf before the attraction closes down on Monday.

On Sunday, the sky above the Delaware River illuminates as a giant fireworks show erupts in front of the Independence Seaport Museum. Click here for a where-to-watch guide.

This week’s Weekend Picks post covers Monday, too, for maximum holiday-weekend planning. We’ll be back on Tuesday morning with our Picks of the Week post.

Be sure to follow Uwishunu on Twitter and Instagram for updates throughout the weekend.

Read on for our guide to this weekend in Philadelphia.
