Weekend Picks: Final Weekend For The Oval+, Philly Caribbean Festival, Restaurant Week In Fishtown And More

Check out the top things to do in Philly this weekend...

Summertime weekends in Philly mean pop-up parks, cool festivals, outdoor movies and waterfront fun — and this weekend brings all of those diversions and more.

One of Philly’s top summer attractions, The Oval+, ends its 2017 season this Sunday, but not before hosting one last movie night, dance party and opportunity to take advantage of the pop-up park on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

At Penn’s Landing, weekend fun continues with the giant Caribbean Festival, an annual celebration of 14 Caribbean countries. Throughout the day-long fest, enjoy delicious food, dance performances, shopping and an ode to Caribbean culture.

This weekend also welcomes restaurant week in Fishtown and Northern Liberties, outdoor movie nights at huge parks, a dance party at Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest and so much more.
