Weekend Picks: Outdoor Movie Nights, Beer Mansion, Jazz On The Ave Festival, Parks On Tap And More

Spend your weekend at cool events all around the city...

It’s time to celebrate the weekend’s arrival with festivals, nightlife events, concerts and pop-up beer gardens.

Throughout the weekend, events are slated to pop up all over the city — and beyond! What’s happening? The Festival of India at Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, Parks on Tap at two locations, Second Saturday in Germantown and so much more.

The weekend starts off with the Brooklyn Brewery Beer Mansion, a beer festival taking place on both Friday and Saturday at the expansive (and beautiful) Woodlands Mansion & Cemetery in West Philly. Guests can visit five, themed tasting rooms each promising a range of both Brooklyn Brewery and local beers, live music, games and more.

As the weekend continues, live music fills North Philly for the Jazz on the Ave Music Festival, happening at Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue. Festival attendees can groove to music by Grammy-Award winning artists, shop and enjoy tasty snacks.

Be sure to follow Uwishunu on Twitter and Instagram for updates throughout the weekend.
