Weekend Picks: Bloktoberfest, Fishtown RiverCity Festival, AIDS Walk Philly And More

Another festival packed fall weekend in Philly...

This weekend ushers in a fresh round of awesome fall festivals and events.

To start it off, it’s Friday the 13th in October. So that’s a perfect excuse to check out Terror Behind The Walls or one of the city’s other spooky attractions.

Then on Saturday, the giant Bloktoberfest takes over four blocks of South Street West with plenty of beer and food options, a Kid Zone, live music and more for a full eight hours.

Meanwhile, the 10th annual RiverCity Festival heads to the beautiful Penn Treaty Park for an amazing Saturday afternoon of shopping, a 5K run, food and more.

And be sure to check out exhibitions, open houses, lectures and more during the final weekend of DesignPhiladelphia, and a whole host of other outdoor markets, concerts, free movie nights and more hitting the city this weekend.

Follow Uwishunu on Twitter and Instagram for updates throughout the weekend.
