For more than two decades, the UniverSoul Circus has brought family fun and entertainment to Philadelphia, turning the typical circus experience into one combining circus, theater, dance and, of course, soul.
The circus is back in town for its 21st year now through November 26, bringing high-flying acrobats, daring stunt artists and more to the big top in West Fairmount Park.
Hailed as the most interactive circus on Earth, UniverSoul Circus meshes multicultural performances with traditional circus arts to create a show experience that asks attendees to be a part of the festivities.
During the show, guests can look forward to acrobats who will take on a 30-foot-tall “wheel of death,” motorcycle stunt performers who fly their bikes high into the air and across 75-foot jumps, pups in costume and more.
Acts from Russia, Cuba, Ethiopia, China and the Caribbean also bring excitement to the show, adding contortion, dancing and other amazing acts to the stage.
All performances take place under the big top in Fairmount Park at 52nd Street and Parkside Avenue. Tickets start at $19 and can be picked up at the box office or purchased online.
So, come one, come all! The UniverSoul Circus is in town!
