Weekend Picks: First Friday, First Person Arts Festival, Apple Fest At Peddler’s Village And More

Warm up your weekend with these fun Philly events...

Philadelphia, we made it to another gorgeous fall weekend — and there’s tons to do both around the city and throughout the region.

Kick start your weekend with First Friday events in Old City and Fishtown as well as along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, all bringing opportunities to check out great art, fun live performances and more.

Fall welcomes some of the city’s big annual fests, and this weekend sees the kick off of both the 14-day, storytelling-focused First Person Arts Festival as well as the Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival, a 16-day celebration of Jewish identity, culture, history and community featuring 35 films.

Also on tap this weekend: the two-day Apple Festival at Peddler’s Village, the interactive UniverSoul Circus in Fairmount Park, First Sunday events at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Barnes Foundation and more.
