Over at Foobooz, they’ve made their “Beer Week Pick of the Day” and it’s a doozy. Apparently if you head down to the South Philadelphia Taproom tonight, they have a special where those sporting “Smutty ‘Staches” get Smutty Nose beers for $2, and dudes sporting full beards pay $3. Ladies can also participate, but you have to wear a fake ’stache (supplied) for the discount. Good times.

Ready to meet some of the people responsible for brewing your favorite beer? Well first, you better watch this beer week video on Center City. Because on Tuesday, March 11th, Philadelphia will have 20 brewers visiting from California, Michigan, Belgium, and of course, Philadelphia… and it’s a citywide event, spanning throughout Philly.
Last week I went to the Philadelphia Craft Beer Festival. It was a pretty wonderful time, but I’ll tell you what it was missing: delicious food. That’s why you should go to The Brewer’s Plate on March 9. As one of the events for Philly Beer Week, The Brewer’s Plate pairs selections from 21 delicious local restaurants with beers from 21 area craft breweries.
