Here we go! Check out Sam Malissa’s winning story from the First Person Arts’ storyslam this past Tuesday. Listen to his wild tale of interning at Philly’s own Constitution Center when it opened. Be warned, there’s some strong language. The words are bleeped out, but we don’t want you getting strange looks in your cubicle.

Be sure to visit the First Person Arts’ website for more information on upcoming events and next month’s slam!

About the Blogger

Hi! I'm Eric. I'm a Springsteen-loving, Bon-Jovi singing Jersey boy who recently up and left, relocating to the awesome city of Philadelphia. I'm a full time graduate student at Arcadia University and work for GPTMC, causing my coworkers to wonder if I have any kind of life. I don't. I enjoy photography, writing, reading, and playing Halo III. I spend a lot of time fussing over my chinchilla, Mittens. He's adorable, and you'll love him.

And don’t forget that Sandra Day O’Connor plays a role in the mayhem! Plus John Street ends up in a sling…This is a great Philly story told by a guy on the front lines!

That was a great story… solid delivery!

My friend Francisco worked on the stage crew for that opening. He called me with this beautifully weird combination of boastful remorse…
