Head on down to the Walnut Street Dock on Schuylkill Banks for one exciting, historic event. A group of Navy SEALs will be there, allowing visitors to tour their state-of-the-art MKV Special Operations Craft, which they’ll demonstrate in the Schuylkill! Philly happens to be the group’s ONLY stop between Fleet Week in New York City and their base in Norfolk, Virginia, so let’s show them a good time.

You’ll be able to talk to the Navy SEALs about their experiences, from diving deep into the ocean to jumping out of planes, all to keep America safe.

The event starts with a ceremony at 12:30, during which a tree will be planted to honor fallen SEALs. Afterwards, the tour and demonstration of the craft begins, from 1PM to 7PM. Check out the full schedule on the Schuylkill Banks site.

For more information visit the Schuylkill Banks official website. I’ll be there with my video camera!

About the Blogger

Hi! I'm Eric. I'm a Springsteen-loving, Bon-Jovi singing Jersey boy who recently up and left, relocating to the awesome city of Philadelphia. I'm a full time graduate student at Arcadia University and work for GPTMC, causing my coworkers to wonder if I have any kind of life. I don't. I enjoy photography, writing, reading, and playing Halo III. I spend a lot of time fussing over my chinchilla, Mittens. He's adorable, and you'll love him.

Obviously you’ve never seen one of these boats in action. It’s… it’s just beautiful.

Actually it was a mistake. My bad. :)
