Today from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in LOVE Park, the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans will celebrate the start of the 2012 NFL season and the launch of the new Eagles edition of the popular game, Angry Birds. Eagles players, cheerleaders and SWOOP will be attendance – along with a giant life-sized version of the new Mighty Philadelphia Eagle Angry Birds character, before it embarks on its two-week tour through the Philadelphia area. While the NFL regular season is still a few weeks away, one Eagle is already earning special recognition. Esquire recently named their 15 Best-Dressed Players in the NFL and Eagles cornerback (and Philly 360° Ambassador) Nnamdi Asomugha was among the chosen few included. We knew when Nnamdi chose to sign with the Eagles in 2011 that he had good taste, we just didn’t know that it applied to fashion as well as football. Let’s hope Nnamdi also earns a few on-the-field accolades during the season to complement this one. [Esquire]

Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, also a Philly 360 Creative Ambassador, is known for his abilities both on and off the field.
