Quintessence Theatre opens its third season with Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Othello on Wednesday, October 10 at 7 p.m. with a pay-what-you-can performance at the Sedgwick Theater on Germantown Avenue. Just as iconic as the story of Othello, in which the celebrated General of Venice falls in love with Desdemona and makes a mortal enemy out of the infamous Iago, is the theater itself.
