Isaiah Zagar, Creator Of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens

Check out the video above to meet artist Isaiah Zagar of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens and learn what he wishes more people knew about in Philadelphia.

Zagar, a local artist who began tiling South Street in the 1960s and never stopped, constructed Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens out of cement, bicycle spokes, bottles, ceramic shards and other artistic knick-knacks.

Zagar has created more than 100 mosaics in Philadelphia. Meet him, and see inside the gardens, above.
