South Street’s iconic Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens hosts two brand-new exhibits this summer under a larger exhibition entitled Portrait Stories. Zagar, a local artist who began tiling South Street in the 1960s and never stopped, constructed Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens out of cement, bicycle spokes, bottles, ceramic shards and other artistic knick-knacks.
