Tonight’s Night Market in Mt. Airy promises to be more than just your favorite street food festival. In an effort to make Philadelphia cleaner and more waste free, Keep Philadelphia Beautiful (KPB) will be “greening” the market. They’ll be switching the packaging of eleven food vendors to compostable products to promote sustainability. In addition, there will be fun product giveaways like picnic kits by other market partners. KPB focuses on litter abatement, waste reduction and community improvement and beatification.
