Secretary Of The Interior Ken Salazar Invites The World To Visit Philadelphia In An Inquirer Op-Ed

In an op-ed published last week in the Philadelphia Inquirer, U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar expounded on the importance of Philadelphia for American tourism: “President Obama wants America to be the top tourist destination in the world, and Philadelphia’s history and culture make it a great place to start.” Salazar came to Philly in honor of the restoration of Independence Hall. Salazar is developing a strategy to promote tourism at national treasures. As he said, Philly is a great place to start. [Philadelphia Inquirer]
