Congratulations to Comcast, who today will finalize its purchase of NBC Universal after a year-long regulatory review.

The NFL's first Tuesday night game in more than 65 years will be played tonight in South Philadelphia.

In a game with big playoff implications, Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Minnesota Vikings tonight in South Philadelphia, marking the first time since 1946 that there will be a NFL game played on a Tuesday night.
After having already clinched the NFC East Division title, the Eagles will be playing for a chance at home-field advantage in the playoffs.
Game time is 8 p.m. on NBC. Follow the game action along with pre-game and post-game coverage on philadelphiaeagles.com.

The President’s House on Independence Mall made its much-anticipated official public opening today at noon with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Mayor Michael Nutter and former Mayor John Street.

In town for a rally this morning at Temple University, President Obama stopped by the Famous Fourth Street Deli in Queen Village for lunch afterwards.
Word on the street is he ordered the Corned Beef Reuben.
No word, however, on whether he was able to finish it… as the sandwiches at Famous Fourth Street Deli are infamously massive.
