First some pub love this week from GQ, now Esquire: The magazine just released its list of the Best New Restaurants of 2012 and it includes Sbraga Restaurant. So awesome! Open since October 2011, the eponymous restaurant from Top Chef season seven winner (and Philly 101 star) Plus, Kevin Sbraga is freakishly delicious, and has a cool new chef’s counter with a rotating menu and the best seat in the house. Kevin’s wife Jesmary Sbraga is his pastry chef, and we have to say, delivers. We are super proud to call Chef Sbraga our own, and congratulate him on this achievement! Get it. [Sbraga]

Tell us something we already know: Frankford Hall is one of America’s Top 10 Beer Gardens according to Men’s Fitness magazine. The accolade comes with great timing, as we just declared 2012 the Summer of the Beer Garden. And, of course, Stephen Starr’s Fishtown beer garden made our list as well, with its delicious food, great happy hour deals, ping-pong tables, table games, 12 taps and an outdoor setting that’s hard to beat. The magazine refers to Frankford Hall as another one of Starr’s “powerhouse restaurants.” Too true. [Men's Fitness]
