At more than 100 years old, Ralph’s Italian Restaurant on 9th Street had previously been one of the oldest Italian restaurants in the country. (And one of several awesome old-school Italian Restaurants in South Philadelphia.) But after Fior D’Italia in San Francisco closed earlier this month, Ralph’s now holds the title as the oldest Italian Restaurant in America. Quite an honor.
