Pin your way to a free art-filled getaway with Visit Philly’s Pin Your Way With Art contest, which launched today. To participate, create a Pinterest board titled With Art Philadelphia and pin at least 10 images from specific locations, such as Visit Philly’s hotel-, dining- and art-related Pinterest boards. Complete your Pinterest masterpiece by May 24 and submit the board’s URL via the Facebook tab to enter. One person will win a weekend stay in Philadelphia as close to his or her designed weekend as possible, complete with art experiences, meals and an overnight hotel stay. Five additional winners will receive Philadelphia museum memberships. Happy pinning!

For two days, today and tomorrow, Queen Village-based photographer David Maialetti “takes over” Visit Philly’s official Instagram account as its first-ever guest Instagrammer. Maialetti, a professional photographer, has spent the past 15 years visually documenting Philly, where he was born and raised. By lending the @visitphilly account to this guest star, Visit Philly’s followers get the chance to experience a new and different perspective of the city and the Queen Village neighborhood usually found on @maialetti, one of Philadelphia Weekly’s “9 Philadelphians to Follow on Instagram.”

Attention Foursquare aficionados: Visit Philly is partnering with VisitPA, the official website for travel and tourism in Pennsylvania, on their new, and highly, coveted, Lock & Keystone badge.
Pennsylvania is keeping the momentum going on Foursquare as the first and only state with exclusive branded badges with the new Lock & Keystone (a reference to the Keystone State moniker), which you can unlock after checking in at five tagged locations.
There are many Philadelphia (and the Countryside) places that Foursquare users can check in to to get the badge. To get VisitPA’s “PA Lock & Keystone” badge, just follow VisitPA and check into at least five eligible places in Pennsylvania, including these 49 Philadelphia spots enumerated on Visit Philly’s Foursquare page.
