New Thursday Special @ Meritage: Korean Fried Chicken

First Meritage brought back Ansill’s famous Korean short-rib tacos. Now, starting this Thursday, Meritage adds Korean Fried Chicken to their menu.

Reasonably priced at $25, this dinner-for-two will include 5 to 6 pieces of chicken and traditional cold sides; slaw, sesame spinach, and pickled vegetables. According to the restaurant, executive chef Anne Coll marinates the chicken in “sesame, garlic, ginger and onion,” and fries it “not once but twice, to give it a crispier exterior while keeping the center tender and juicy.”

To accompany the dinner, Meritage will also serve Sapporo, a famous Japanese beer. This special will only be available on Thursdays.
