Hello cheese lovers! Philly’s favorite cheese evangelist, the lovely Madame Fromage, is hosting a tasting of cheese, apples, and ale this Saturday, September 18, at 5 p.m. at Quince (that charming gourmet shop just north of Liberties Walk). Attendees will taste three cheeses (one local!) with fall fruit. There will be a few brews paired with the nibbles as well.

These tastings are offered in the Slow Food-style, meaning that they’re about savoring and cogitating the thoughtful flavors presented. They’re also a great chance to meet other cheese lovers (and usually a local food blogger or two).

To sign up, please contact Quince at (215) 232-3425 or Tastings are limited to 12 participants and cost $12. All proceeds go to the store. Please note that this tasting starts at 5 p.m., an hour later than usual.
