Single tickets are officially on sale for the 10th anniversary season of the Kimmel Center, and it’s going to be huge.

The season celebrates legends who call Philadelphia home with the best of world, pop, jazz, dance and classical offerings presented onstage. The season kicks off with a performance by k.d. lang on September 29, followed by jazz luminary Esperanza Spalding on October 14.

The 2011/2012 Broadway series includes the sensational Wizard of Oz, FELA! and Riverdance. Non-musical acts to look forward to include stand-up from Jerry Seinfeld and David Sedaris, and an evening of storytelling from master chefs Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert.

In other exciting news, the center has launched KimmelSTIX, $10 fixed-price student ticketing for select Kimmel Center Presents performances and Broadway shows. KimmelSTIX is open to high school, college and graduate students, ages 17-30, with a valid student I.D. card.
