Proceed posthaste to the 2011 TASTE Philadelphia Festival of Food, Wine, and Spirits at the Valley Forge Convention Center, October 21-23.

Presented by Gourmet Shows, this year’s festival once again showcases the finest wine, spirits and gourmet foods around.

Local chefs along with nationally-known culinary personalities/celebrities will be on-site for various and delicious demonstrations.

Some of your favorite television chefs performing demos at TASTE include Ted Allen, host of Food Network’s Chopped; Mike Isabella, Bravo TV’s Top Chef All-Star; and our very own Jose Garces, Food Network’s Iron Chef.

More than 150 stations with food, wines liquors and more from your favorite regionally-renowned restaurants and brands will be placed around the convention center, all of which will tantalize your taste buds.

There will also be wine and beer seminars, plus a Taste of Italy Pavilion featuring fine wines to sample; a succulent feast of cheeses, olives, oils and breads direct from Italy; and Philadelphia restaurants presenting their own signature Italian dishes.

A word of advice: you may want to go on an empty stomach. Get tickets online.
