The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the group behind the largest indoor flower show in the world, is holding a pop-up holiday store to help you deck the halls for all of your garden-savvy friends and family.

The festive 400 square-foot space, located across from the Chestnut Hill Hotel on Germantown Avenue, will be adorned with birch wood and green garlands and accented with glitter and mercury glass.

Flowers are always a crowd-pleaser, so you can’t really go wrong with a special sneak peek gift from the 2013 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show themed “Brilliant!”, bringing Great Britain to Philadelphia. Pick up individual tickets, special ticket packages for families and groups and other fabulous “Brilliant!” items like British-inspired plaid cashmere scarves.

There will also be a variety of home decor items like soy candles housed in ceramic urns that can also serve as plant potters, and all kinds of other crafty knick-knacks and wall hangings.

Culinary items like sauces, salsas, mustards, soup mixes and spice rubs work as versatile gifts for anyone on your list.

For those who purchase a Household or Leadership-level membership on site, how’s about a 15-pyramid tea sachet package flavored with lemon verbena, rooibos, lemon balm, linden flowers, anise, cinnamon, hops, orange peel and passion flower? Not a bad way to reward yourself for a hard day’s shop.

The Pop-Up Store will be open from Wednesday, November 28 through Sunday, December 23. On Wednesday evenings in December be sure to stop by Chestnut Hill’s coinciding Stag & Doe Nights.
