The Free Library’s Borrowers’ Ball Is Back This Saturday, December 1

The Free Library’s Borrowers’ Ball and Raven Society Black Tie Holiday Fête will take place this Saturday, December 1.

At the smashingest literary party of the year, the Borrowers’ Ball, guests will enjoy a full open bar, dinner by Brulee Catering and dancing beginning at 7 p.m.

Plus, the knowledge that they’re contributing to one of the city’s most important institutions: the Free Library.

The Raven Society’s “speakeasy in the stacks,” a lower ticket price-point, will kick off at 8:30 p.m. and feature delicious hors d’oeuvres by Brulee Catering from some of Philly’s best chefs including Jean-Marie Lacroix, Matt Levin and Guillermo Pernot.

At 10 p.m., the Raven’s speakeasy-goers will join in the Ball fun for dessert and dancing.
