The Mummers Museum Presents The First Annual Soup Day Festival And Golden Ladle Award Contest, Sunday, December 23

Get a fun preview of what's to come on New Year's Day at the first-ever Mummers Museum Soup Day Festival in South Philly.

Join Philly’s favorite comics and fancies for the first ever Mummers Museum Soup Day Festival, complete with Golden Ladle Award Contest.

Head down to the Mummers Museum on December 23 at noon for tours, face painting, balloon animals and treats for the whole family.

Then at 2 p.m., mosey up the street for the Philadelphia Mobile Food Association’s pre-Christmas food truck roundup from Front Street to Moyamensing and from Washington to Federal.

Trucks include StreetFoodPhilly, Lil Dan’s, Sum Pig, Chewy’s, Just Jackies, The Mini Trini, Vernalicious, The Sunflower Truck Stop, Cupcake Carnivale, Bonjour Creperie, Chef Johnny Bravo’s Surf n Turf, Gigi’s & Big R and Spot Burger.

The party continues at 4 p.m. with live music from The Steve Cal Band, The Goodtimers, and Slim Bob and the New Electrics.

Of course the Philadelphia mummers will be in attendance, celebrating the century-long tradition at this premiere annual event.

It’ll be an awesome preview of what’s to come on New Year’s Day.
