The Trestle Inn Hosts Four Fine Bartenders For Its First Bourbon Battle, Wednesday, March 27

Served straight up, on the rocks or in a handsome cocktail, there’s not much that wets the whistle quite like bourbon.

Which is why the ever-alluring bar The Trestle Inn holds so much appeal. The Callowhill neighborhood lounge boasts a long list of bourbon, more than 60 in all. This week, there’s even more reason to belly-up to the well-worn bar as the first-ever Bourbon Battle goes down Wednesday, March 27 at 6 p.m.

The match-up, sponsored by Old Forester and Woodford Reserve, shakes up brown-liquor cocktails from Scott Coudriet of Lloyd, Tim Heuisler of Time Restaurant, The Industry’s Jonny Sherlock and The Trestle’s own Jake Goldberg.

A $20 ticket ($25 at the door) provides a tasting of the competitors’ labors and the opportunity to vote for your preferred concoction.

Proceeds from the event will benefit PAWS the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society.
