Moore College Of Art And Design Presents Films By Local Filmmakers At Film Al Fresco, Outdoor Movie Screenings Paired With Food Truck Fare

Celebrate local filmmakers and food truck fare at Moore College of Art and Design’s Film al Fresco movie screenings.

The event, which is a first for Moore College of Art and Design, showcases films by Philadelphia filmmakers on four Fridays in June and July.

Pair the independent films with local bites from loved food trucks.

Catch Locomotive, a film about a straight-edge musician and his successes and failures during his musical career at the first event on Friday, June 14. Lil’ Pop Shop and Foo Truck are the honorary food guests.

The following screenings, which fall on June 28, July 12 and 26, feature a bunch of short independent films at each event. Upcoming food vendors include Little Baby’s Ice Cream (on June 28), Jimmie’s Cupcakes (on July 12) and Street Food Philly (on July 26).

Food trucks will be on site from 7 to 10 p.m. The full film and food lineup is available here.

All screenings begin approximately at 8 p.m. and take place across from Moore College of Art and Design at Aviator Park.

In the case of rain, head to Moore’s Stewart Auditorium for an indoor (and dry) screening.
