No need to pack a lunch this Thursday, October 31. Slow Food Philly and Les Dames d’Escoffier Philadelphia are teaming up to present a day of farm fresh knowledge and demos in celebration of Food Day, a nationwide month-long initiative, at Reading Terminal Market.

Help celebrate nutritional, affordable and tasty fare in the name of the Food Day event.

From noon to 2 p.m., hear from local farmers, regional nutritionists, youth farming programs and more. Learn how to chow down on healthy eats without skimping on taste.

Also look forward to learning the ins and outs of the healthiest (and most farm fresh) goods out there.
