Last call, food fans!

Night Market Philadelphia takes to the streets of Chinatown tonight in the last event of its 2013 season.

If you haven’t yet come out to experience The Food Trust’s epic food fest this year (really?!), tonight is the night to come out and feast! It’s a truly awesome and delicious scene, and not to be missed.

The fourth and final event of the 2013 season is set to transform 10th and Race street into an alfresco eating and entertainment destination from 7 to 11 p.m. with more than 60 of the city’s top food trucks and restaurants lining the streets and serving up a huge array of flavors — everything from made-on-site pizza to Korean cheesesteaks.

Besides the food and drink, tonight brings out some pretty sweet entertainment, too. Look out for a stage beneath the soaring Chinatown gate with performers befitting of Chinatown like the Philadelphia Suns lion dancers and the Vega Music Group Asian pop band. Plus, none other than local drag diva Martha Graham Cracker will be taking the stage tonight at 9:15 p.m.

Tonight’s Night Market is set to take over six blocks of 10th Street from Vine to Arch streets, plus two blocks of Race Street. These streets will be closed to vehicular traffic from 3 p.m. on to prepare for the eating and drinking extravaganza.

And with today and tonight’s insanely gorgeous weather, we know you guys are ready to get out there and dive in to Night Market.

Read on for our complete guide to Night Market Chinatown.

The Food

As with previous Night Markets, it’s best to come early (to try and avoid the long lines) and come hungry (to taste everything).

A lineup food and drink options from more than 60 vendors, with tons of the tried-and-true favorites on tap for this evening. Perennial favorites not to miss include arepas from Delicias, local ice cream from Little Baby’s, tacos al pastor from Los Taquitos de Puebla, mac ‘n’ cheese from the Mac Mart Cart and loaded hot dogs from The Dapper Dog.

New favorites like the Cherry Bomb Bus, Cheu Noodle Bar and Prime Stache will be on hand, too, along with a small contingent of Chinatown eateries, including Nature Soy, Tea Do and Yakitori Boy.

For the complete list of vendors, see below or check here.

The Drinks

Wash down all of the great grub with a nice selection of beverages. Yards Brewing Company is back for the final fest with its finely crafted brews at three main booths, one at Winter Street, another at Race Street, and the other at Appletree Street. (See map below for locations.)

In addition to beer, look for hard cider from Frecon Farms, cocktails from Philadelphia Distilling and local wine from Penns Woods Winery.

No one will go thirsty on Race Street tonight.

The Live Music and Entertainment

Alongside the food truck eats and local brews, this Night Market brings out entertainment on a main stage at Arch Street beneath the landmark Chinatown Friendship Gate, as well as additional performers stationed at Vine Street, Cherry Street and Appletree Street.

Don’t miss the traditional Chinese lion dancing at 7 p.m. or the special performance by Philadelphia’s favorite drag artist Martha Graham Cracker Cabaret at 9:15 p.m.

Plus, there will be kung fu demonstrations, shadow puppets, live brass band music and so much more to keep the energy high and the festival rocking.

So get out there tonight, and relish the final street food blowout of the season.

Getting There and Parking

Chinatown is super accessible via foot, bike and public transportation. Street closures are going to mean limited parking, so walking gets our vote for the most highly recommended mode of transport to tonight’s event.
