The city is brimming with Halloween spirit as the celebration of spook quickly approaches. From ghost tours to haunted houses this evening is anything but scare-free.

The night before Halloween calls for a creepy jaunt around Eastern State Penitentiary’s Terror Behind the Walls haunted house and an equally as creepy ghost walking tour around Laurel Hill Cemetery or Old City’s cobblestone streets. It is mischief night after all… but leave the tricks at home.

Faint of heart, take note, in addition to Halloween-themed events, Lobster Month continues at Route 6, which recently announced that its awesome promotion will run through November. Tonight, celebrate the news with a half-price lobster dinner and a craft beer. It’s also pay-what-you-wish Wednesday at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which encompasses a variety of art, film, discussion and even some trick-or-treating.

Pay-What-You-Wish Wednesday at the Philadelphia Museum of Art: This evening, the Philadelphia Museum of Art welcomes its well-loved pay-what-you-wish Wednesday event with a special Halloween twist. In addition to all of the art, film and yoga goodness we’ve come to expect, the museum is also celebrating All Hallow’s Eve with costume making crafts and trick-or-treating throughout the galleries.
