Deal Alert: Shake Shack Center City Adds A New Happy Hour; University City Shake Shack Adds New Track And Field Runners Club

UPDATE: Shake Shack’s Center City happy hour has been canceled until further notice. Stay tuned!

Some people may not even realize that Shake Shack serves beer and wine, but they do — and this week the Center City Shack location introduced a brand-new weekday happy hour.

Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m., you can now enjoy two-for-one beer and wine. Sip Shake Shack’s exclusive ShackMeister Ale by Brooklyn Brewery, its local, seasonal Victory Brewing Company’s Festbier and/or a glass of Shack red or white wine at the after work event.

Outside of happy hour, draught beer starts at $5 and glasses of wine start at $8.50 which means during the eatery’s new happy hour you can snag two brews for $5 or two glasses of wine for $8.50.

Also, the relatively new University City Shake Shack is slated to bring back Philly’s Shack Track and Field, free running events throughout the fall beginning tonight, November 12 at 7 p.m.

Lace up your running shoes and join fellow Philadelphians of all running levels in food and beer-driven runs around town. Runs will leave from Philadelphia Runner at 3621 Walnut Street and end at the University City Shake Shack location. After completing the run, participants will be treated to a complimentary drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) at Shake Shack.

The free run returns on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. — that’s November 12 and 26 this month — and last 45-minutes to an hour.
