Are you itching to make use of your classic tweed blazer and drivers hat?
Dress to the nines this Saturday, November 9 for the annual Tweed Ride Philadelphia, a unique bike ride throughout the city.
The Philadelphia Tweed Ride invites participants to don their finest tweed apparel for a day of fashion, cycling, picnicking and charity.
The ride starts at 11 a.m. at the Water Works Restaurant and Lounge behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art, from there, stylish cyclists circle around the city, stop for a picnic lunch (so pack a picnic!) and pose for photographs until the ride comes to an end at Rembrandt’s in Fairmount.
Dress to impress as the best dressed attendees will be awarded prizes like most dapper chap and snappy lass. There’s even a prize for the most picturesque picnic, so get packing!
The ride is free, but donations for Philabundance will be collected.
