Blockbuster events and major festivals of all sort fill the city this evening as Night Market, the Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll and an alfresco movie night pop up across Philadelphia.

Food trucks of all sort — pizza, tacos, dessert, cheese and much more — fill Ogontz Avenues with more than 50 food trucks for Night Market West Oak Lane, a super popular food truck festival complete with live entertainment, beverage vendors, an on-site Visit Philly photo booth and more. The Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll serves up affordable food and drink deals from more than 30 West Philly restaurants and a healthy dose of music and family-friendly fun, too. Indulge in $1 bites from popular spots like Little Baby’s Ice Cream, Milk and Honey Market and Gold Standard Cafe.

Due to the rainy weather tonight, the Schuylkill Banks’ first outdoor movie night at Grays Ferry Crescent has been canceled. No need to fear, the rain date for tonight’s movie, Despicable Me 2, is August 28.

Night Market West Oak Lane: More fine food takes over another street across town as, Night Market West Oak Lane returns. Tonight from 6 to 10 p.m., indulge in an array of mobile eats as food trucks from all over the city make their way to the super popular festival. The fine street food ranges from delicious standbys like tacos al pastor and pepperoni pizzato imaginative fare like peanut butter, bacon, cheddar and pickle sandwiches. Drool. Free Beer and Cheese Happy Hour at Di Bruno Bros.: Di Bruno Bros. at Franklin Market celebrates Thursday with its free weekly beer and cheese happy hour. Tonight, sip samples from three breweries — Ommegang, Victory and Flying Fish — and nosh on perfectly paired cheese, too. Happy hour is from 5 to 7 p.m. and is completely free.
