Looking for a hot festival to get you through the dog days of summer? Save the date for Thursday, August 14 when Night Market Lancaster Avenue hits the streets of West Philly.
The sensational Night Market Philadelphia is midway through its fourth year of recurring street food festivals, and has already hosted blowout events in Old City and West Oak Lane, each of which brought out tens of thousands of attendees and dozens of vendors dishing excellent edibles.
The event does an incredible job of showcasing up-and-coming neighborhoods and brilliant food by partnering with local restaurants and food trucks, regional musicians, dynamic artists — all in all, creating plenty of good times.
Hungry for more? You’re in luck.
This August, the market travels to the Lancaster Avenue neighborhood with a troupe of food trucks and restaurants to set up shop for one night only on Thursday, August 14 from 6 to 10 p.m.
Originally schedule for August 21, note that the date of Night Market Lancaster Avenue was recently changed to Thursday, August 14. Don’t miss out!
This stop on the Night Market circuit — the 15th! — invites food lovers to explore the burgeoning Lower Lancaster Avenue, a corridor that connects such smaller communities as Mantua (recently deemed a Promise Zone by President Obama), Powelton Village and University City.
Plus, this street food fest will also include rocking live music on two stages from a multitude of artists, including West Philly’s very own Chill Moody.
If the upcoming events are even half as well attended as Old City and West Oak Lane, the Night Market will continue its run as an awesome, not-to-be-missed bash.
Come hungry, folks.
