Inflatable movie screens pop up all over town this evening as numerous parks across the city play host to free outdoor movie screenings.

The Schuylkill Banks screens Finding Nemo, Clark Park plays The Wizard of Oz as Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of the Moon plays over the speakers and Penn’s Landing hosts The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Sister Cities Park opens up to BYOB beverages, food pairings and live music as it puts on its weekly Pairings on the Parkway event and Di Bruno Bros. at Franklin Market serves up free beer and cheese for its free Thursday night happy hour.

It’s also an ideal night to check out the new Spruce Street Harbor Park on the Delaware River Waterfront, an oasis for summertime activity and fun times to boot.

Free Screening of Finding Nemo at the Schuylkill Banks: Finding Nemo fills the screen at the Schuylkill Banks’ outdoor movie night at the Walnut Street bridge. Admission to all outdoor film screenings at the Schuylkill Banks are completely free. Look forward to free snacks (including Shake Shack custard!), drinks and a free raffle tonight, too.

Located in Shakespeare Park, across from the Parkway Central Library, guests are encouraged to bring snacks and their own seating for the fee show. In the case of rain, the show will take place in the Parkway Central lobby.
