Thanksgiving weekend is always a great time in Philadelphia but this weekend is really shaping up to be spectacular. It’s going to be a great kick-off to the holiday season in Philly.

Tonight, there are parties across town for one of the biggest going out nights of the year.

And then tomorrow for the main event, Philadelphia’s annual Thanksgiving Day Paradethe oldest Thanksgiving Day parade in the country – will fill the city with floats, giant balloons, performances and special guest appearances. You’ll want to be there in person, so consult our parade-watching guide.

For Thanksgiving dinners, we have a bunch of great options across town. And don’t forget about the Eagles taking on the Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. on Fox.

This week also marks the opening of a variety of tried-and-true holiday sights in Philadelphia: Christmas Village at Love Park, the Comcast Holiday Spectacular, Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest, Macy’s Christmas Light Show, A Longwood Christmas and much more.
