Bring your appetite! The Fishtown Chili Cookoff, presented by the Fishtown Neighbors Association, is returning for year five this Sunday, March 29 with tons of delicious chili, local beer and even local bread from Metropolitan Bakery.

The cookoff calls on a number of local restaurants and residents to make their best chili in hopes of being crowned winner of a number of categories — Best Restaurant Chili, Best Resident Chili and a People’s Choice Award for both Restaurant and Resident. A panel of judges will vote for their favorites as will the cookoff guests.

Participating restaurants include neighborhood favorites like Loco Pez, Fette Sau, Cedar Point Bar & Kitchen, Lloyd and Good Spoon Soupery. Fifteen residents are expected to bring out their finest chili, too.

Philadelphia Brewing Company, St. Benjamin’s Brewing and Do Good Brewing will provide plenty of local craft beer for chili-eaters, too.

Advanced admission is $15 and includes two beers and all of the chili you can eat — click here to register. Guests can also purchase a Fishtown Neighbors Association glass and admission for $18 in advance. At the door, $10 chili-only registration will be available.
