This imaginative spectacle has immensely broad appeal. No matter what age you are, you’ll be captivated by the exceptional visual artistry and inspirational story.

The score, which combines toe-tapping pop tunes with the dynamic rhythms of African music, includes songs by Elton John and Tim Rice and is tailor-made to have you singing along, if not aloud at least in your head.

Costumes and masks, by the show’s director Julie Taymor, are alone worth the price of admission.

The original Broadway show snagged six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Scenic Design, Best Costume Design and Best Choreography. It’s since been on a constant touring schedule and has broken all records for worldwide box office.
